Darkness Vs. Light

How would it be if you were asked to walk on a pitch black pathway? There you wouldn’t be able to see the obstacles on your way, yet you are required to complete the journey. It’s obvious that you would walk on the thorns on your way, bump into the obstacles and by the end of the journey, your body would be covered with bruises and you would be in a totally helpless situation.

ONLY AN INSANE PERSON WOULD STILL WANT TO WALK IN THE DARK !!!

On the other hand, if that pathway is illuminated with lights. You would be able to see your way clearly. The obstacles and the thorns would be visible and you would be able to walk easily while avoiding the harm. You would end the journey happily in good health.

Now, contrasting this…

Those who are deluded by the worldly life are walking in darknesses. They do not see the thorns or obstacles or pits on their way. They continue walking. They fall and suffer from bruises, but that doesn’t light a bulb in their mind. But, when their journey comes to an end, and all the spiritual bruises are made visible to them, they find their soul bleeding profusely and they feel pain like they never felt before. They may never have suffered from pain in the worldly life, but they couldn’t save their soul from getting killed by their own hands.

Those who are enlightened by the Light of The Glorious Quran, the Sunnah and the true teachings of Islam, see the obstacles and thorns on their way. They walk carefully and protect their soul from harm. They complete their journey with  a whole and hearty soul shining all over. They may have suffered from pain in their worldly life, but that they knew were merely trials. What was most important was to save their soul. To save their spirituality. To save their Afterlife.

2:257

“Allah is the ally of those who believe. He brings them out from darknesses into the light. And those who disbelieve – their allies are Taghut. They take them out of the light into darknesses. Those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide eternally therein.”
(Surah Al Baqarah, 2:257)
